THE ROW at last seems to have come up with a way of ensuring new talents and old skills combine to safeguard its future.
Trainees who received diplomas at the Summer Party are the first batch to benefit from a scheme set up by Savile Row Bespoke.
Phillip Parker of Henry Poole and Sue Nicholson,above, put in much of the hard work to see the training programme come to fruition.
Those who received diplomas were: from Anderson & Sheppard - Daniel Kinsey,Paulo Nicodemi and Oliver Spencer; from Meyer & Mortimer - Chandni Odedra; from Henry Poole - Terry Francis, Craig Holloway,Rory Duffy and Jinny Seals; from Dege & Skinner - Sarah Massey,Roxanne Jones and Rebecca le Moignan, from Huntsman - Jordan Heard and Liv Guri Ostrem; and from Gieves & Hawks - Jo Baker and Ayres Gongalo.
They had completed a 36 month training programme. A further twenty trainees are in the system, and many more aspire to join them. |
